Introduction to trad climbing course
Trad Climbing Course (3 Days)
Do you want to learn how to climb using traditional protection?
On this three-day trad climbing course, you’ll learn how to place and assess your own protection in the mountains, so you can climb safely on trad routes.
The course provides a thorough introduction to the use of nuts, cams, and other mobile protection. We’ll work both on the ground and on the rock, with a strong focus on good habits, sound judgment, and safe practices at the crag.
Over three days, you’ll get plenty of hands-on training and guidance from your instructor. The goal is that by the end of the course, you’ll be able to climb easy trad routes safely and independently with a partner.
